Handmade Photo Frame 2!

Article text
Recently I made a small photo frame from the branches of the oak tree in my garden. After being pleased with the result, I decided to have a go at making a bigger one - shown above.

This took longer, as I wanted to round off the edges. However, using only hand tools, this required a lot of effort and time - then I remembered a print I made a few months ago....which fitted perfectly! So, to keep the print off the glass, I put a narrow mount around the picture and prevent any possible condensation, or chemical damage from the glass to the print - the benefits of working in a framing shop!

For now, this is the last hand-made frame I'll be making, as I'm moving house. Although, as and when I get chance again, I'd love to make another one - they're really unique, and work really well with the pictures I've put within them.
